The most complete music album I've ever heard
Wow. The recording, the production, the new drummer... I'm near speechless. I know that most people have a boner for De-loused, and it's a great album, but each successive release from this band nearly reinvents music altogether. This album has to be one of, if not the most impressive and cohesive works I've ever heard.
There is so much going on in each song. They are all so full, and you'll be checking out Pridgen's (sp?) drumming for awhile with your brain melting and mouth wide open and all of a sudden you realize that some guitar solo has been slapping you in the face for about 20 seconds and you didn't even know it. I described to a friend while hearing this album for the first time, that I imagined myself laying down, in outer space with each instrument representing a different spirit, and each one is taking advantage of my body in horrible ways. I don't think that many people could do ANYTHING in life at this level.
Listen to it. Love it. Be blown away. This is music reinvented.
